Meshi-Yu was founded in 1948 in IseMeshi-Yu was founded in 1948 in Ise by Yukichi Oonishi. Before World War Ⅱ, Yukichi's grandmother ran a restaurant so called "Meshi-ya". "Meshi" and "Yu" from Yukichi, the two words were combined into the name "Meshi-Yu". As a butcher shop we have retailed and wholesaled to local customers including restaurants and hotels in Ise and Shima area. Our selected quality meat which is cut by skilled hand has been well received from our customers.
