Meshi-Yu was founded in 1948 in Ise by Yukichi Oonishi. Before World War Ⅱ, Yukichi's grandmother ran a restaurant so called "Meshi-ya". "Meshi" and "Yu" from Yukichi, the two words were combined into the name "Meshi-Yu". As a butcher shop we have retailed and wholesaled to local customers including restaurants and hotels in Ise and Shima area.
